it seriously cannot just be my own filthy mind that translates the wand descriptions in harry potter to phallic imagery, can it? apparently, viktor krum’s is “thicker than normal” and “quite rigid” - while harry’s is “nice and supple”, and an inch bigger. ooh-err.

this is why reading through the books and changing “wand” to “willy” each time yields the most brilliant results: “something huge and white erupted from the end of harry’s willy.”

I thought I was the only one who thought this! lol

So today, I finished Alan Wake, after a lapse of about a week where I didn’t play xbox at all (HORRID, right?)

Anyways. Alan Wake is alright.  Definitely made me jump a few times, and the storyline was interesting.  I feel like it would have been better suited on computer though. I never could get super crazy about 3rd person shooters for Xbox. (Except LA Noire)

Alan Wake is worth playing, if you don’t mind lots of cut scenes. I’m not bothered by cut scenes at all, (maybe thats why I enjoyed LA Noire… )

The ending fight was pretty anti-climactic.  I shot a flare gun at a giant tornado a few times. Woooo…?

There was a bit of cut scene-ness after that, but I won’t spoil.  I was PISSED and confused at the ending though.  Apparently there’s DLC that explains it?  Dopplegangers? Hmm. I probably won’t by any DLC because I don’t want to spend money, so if anyone would like to spoil it for me, feel free to message me!

So I was browsing the “gifs” tag on tumblr, because I was bored.

I definitely wasn’t aware there was porn on tumblr. Saw a bunch of posts from “sexyporngifs”… ew

I bet at least one of my followers was like OOH I WANNA SEE, and went to the “gifs” page.

I was six years old. My grandpa brought me a book as a present. It was called “Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone”.  Being the tiny bookworm that I was, I dove into reading it, and immediately fell in love. A few months later, Harry’s popularity exploded, and I was excited because I was already ahead of the game.   I had no idea that I would grow to love Harry and his world more and more each year, and that I would still be talking about him 14 years later.  I love the book series more than I love some people (no joke).  J.K. Rowling changed my life. Her writing ignited my love for literature, a passion that has never gone out for me.  Thanks to her, I’m pursuing a career in English and Literature.  Thanks to her, I’ve learned that books can take you to the most magical of places.  Thanks to her, over two thirds of my life have been accompanied by beautiful imagery, unique and memorable characters, and an inspiring plot.

In the movie, whenever DiCaprio and his gang are about to wake up, they hear the song Non, je ne regrette nien by Edith Piaf. But you knew that part — they never hide the fact that they’re using that particular song as part of the plot. What you might not have realized is that you’re hearing it even when you think you aren’t.

Remember that ultra-dramatic instrumental theme you hear over and over for the last 45 minutes of the movie? It sounds like a typical summer movie soundtrack meant to let you know that shit’s getting real … but it’s actually that same Edith Piaf song, slowed down almost beyond recognition.

The really cool part is that it makes perfect sense. The Edith Piaf song is a way for the characters to know they’re about to wake up — but since time passes more slowly inside dreams, what seems like two minutes and 23 seconds in reality can last a lot longer for them. While the song is playing at normal speed in the waking world, the characters should hear it all slowed down.

I miss L.A. Noire. I should have bought it, I WANT TO PLAY AGAIN. Maybe I’d actually complete all street crimes. I mostly want to play again so I can find all of the badass hidden cars.

Can I skip the arson part though? Murder was the most interesting. Gahh that game is awesome

My friend Mandy went to buy HPDH2 tickets for a big group of friends. She went up to the counter and said “I need 7 tickets for Harry Potter”. The employee said “…7?”

I think Mandy should have said “Yeah, I need one for me, and the rest are for my Horcruxes”

I emailed the head of the company that I work for, and asked her if its true that my boss (who harasses me and many other girls) is still employed.  She told me that he is still employed by Sodexo, but that he won’t be working at Einsteins anymore.

Am I the only person that thinks its a little fucked up that a man who was accused of sexual harassment by 5 GIRLS is still employed? Sure, you can move him to a different place on campus, but hes still on campus. Still around college girls, and still employed.

What the hell kind of company allows a man who has sexually harassed 5 of his employees to still be employed?

I can’t believe this shit. My boss asks me how mad I’d be if he slipped me a date rape drug and he’s still allowed to be employed.

I need to go play a violent video game.
